Reflection

The AE senior project was a unique experience that taught me a lot through the two semesters. Thesis was challenging process since I had to put what I have learned through the previous four years in Penn state and enforces the knowledge in one project. The lighting depth allowed me to challenge my self to reach the desire results and work in passion with the ideas that I liked. Even though, the calculations were bit off but I learned how software works in terms of accuracy. This will help in my future project and enhance my performance. The electrical part was the hardest to me since the requirements weren’t clear, but eventually I got to know a lot about this field. However, the breadths were really enjoyable and fun to do and work with. Both breadths, mechanical and acoustical, opened my eyes in other things that I never thought about before and therefore, added a lot to my awareness in building systems and consideration. In addition, this class improved my presentation skills and confidant. In general, thesis project took my experience to larger scale and presented my unique personality and identity that showed my interest and understanding in lighting design and other systems as well.

The CPEP website was a great idea that present student’s work in an organize way that allows faculty and others to access thesis’ projects. Overall, I like my website and the requirements that follows it.
