BIOGRAPHY
All About Iman Al Jashmi
Iman Al Jashmi was born in Virginia State, but raised with her family in Oman. After graduation from high school, Iman got a scholarship from the ministry of higher education in Oman to study abroad in the United State of America.
Iman is architectural engineer graduated from Penn State University (USA) in May 2015. She graduate with Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from the Lighting/Electrical option with intergal masters. Iman is currently a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society. She was also a public relation of Omani Student Association on campus for three years.
During the past four summers, Iman took four internships, two of the internships were with Atkins company (summer 2012)worked as architect and as a lighting desinger (summer 2013). In Summer2014 and 2015 Iman joined SSH Design to intern as a lighting designer and interior designer. Moreover, Iman had a great experince studying abroad with the Penn State AE Sede di Roma program by learning significant sketch techniques inspired by Roman Empire history.
More to mention, Iman participated in Enlighting Americas 2015 in Baltimore (USA) and Building and Light Exhibition 2016 in Frankfurat, Germany. These two participations added a lot to her vision in life and lighting experince.
Currently, Iman works as an architect and lighting engineer in Dar Al Handasa, in Public Authority of Social Insurance (PASI) mix use development project.
Outside of academics, Iman was invoved in several charity events in Oman.
she volnteered in four different summer camps as a teacher. Iman is looking forward to work with big designing firm and then own a business in architectural and lighting industry in the future.
Working with a diverse range of clients including local authorities, arts and cultural institutions, non-profit organizations, and commercial developers, Iman Al Jashmi has been highly recognized for great work. To learn more, feel free to scroll through the site.
